Audio Engineering Society San Francisco Swap Meet

Just added:
Wes Dooley, AEA Ribbon Mics
AES Fellow Wes Dooley, founder of AEA Ribbon Mics in Pasadena, will be joining our swap meet as a seller and conduct a workshop on ribbon mics during the swap meet. This is a great opportunity to come learn everything you ever wanted to know about ribbon mics.
There is still time to sign up to sell your extra audio gear at the AES Audio Swap Meet on Saturday, April 7th, in San Francisco, or put it on your calendar to come shop. Early signups indicate that this might be our biggest swap meet yet.
Spend a Saturday buying, selling or browsing great audio gear and instruments with other Bay Area audio professionals at our spring swap meet, on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at City College San Francisco Arts Extension Building. We will also have a lounge area with snacks to hang out and network.
Hosted by the Audio Engineering Society, this is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit, community event for music and audio industry professionals. All transactions are 100% buyer to seller, with no commissions. This event is open to non-AES members as well.
Audio Engineering Society San Francisco will post an advance page on our website of gear sellers plan to bring and a wish list of what people are looking for, as that information gets communicated to us.
Tickets to attend: open to everyone, members and non-members:
Advance: $3 per person ($4.14 with service fees) at Eventbrite.
At the door: $5 per person
Info for Sellers:
If you have professional audio gear or musical instruments to sell, contact us with the form below to request a spot. Selling space size varies since we’re putting everyone inside the studios and halls, so giving us a rough idea of what you plan to bring helps AES plan space and promote.
Vendor spaces are payable in advance through eventbrite: once you’ve reserved your spot, we’ll send you information on how to prepay for your space.
AES Members: $10 includes your admission
Non-AES Members: $15 includes your admission
Locations on floor will be on a first arrival basis. We’ll be indoors, with electricity available for testing gear. Bring your own folding table, crates, tablecloths, seats or whatever you need to display. Sellers are responsible for all of your own transactions and fund collection.
Move-in at 9:00am. Doors for shoppers at 10:00am.
To request a selling spot, please fill out the following form:

Updates on Sellers as of April 4:
Note–this is what sellers have listed to bring so far, not a complete list. Some are still sorting through their gear and we expect more sellers to be signing up.
