DESCRIPTION:The San Francisco Audio Engineering Society section is partnering with Music Expo SF\, in the annual conference for music makers\, returning to Ex’pression College\, Emeryville on Saturday\, 12th November 2016. \nMusic Expo SF is open to anyone interested in the art of music making; professional and semi-professional musicians\, songwriters\, music producers\, audio engineers and DJs as well as music students and educators. This year the event is offering more workshops\, master classes\, artist keynotes\, product demos and networking opportunities\, for one of the most comprehensive music and audio events in Northern California. \nWith approximately 40 sessions and 800 attendees from professionals to students as well as representatives from leading pro audio and music software manufacturers\, the opportunity for networking\, learning\, and collaborating is huge. \nThe conference sells out each year. DESCRIPTION:Bring out your sounds\, for our final listening party at Coast. Let’s close out the year with your sounds designs\, recordings and songs\, whole and segments\, polished tunes or works in progress. Whether it’s abstract\, musique concrete\, nature sounds or traditional music\, we welcome sound creators and music makers of all flavors to share your work in our small listening party environment. \nAES San Francisco is returning to Coast Mastering for on Monday\, November 14\, with our hosts Michael Romanowski\, Piper Payne and Jessica Thompson. AES listening parties are a great opportunity to meet other local audio professionals\, share your work\, and listen to what others are creating. \nCoast Mastering is in the Zaentz Media Center in Berkeley. Formerly known as Studio C\, Coast’s two newly-built mastering rooms were designed and tuned by acoustician Bob Hodas and feature speakers by Focal\, VTL monoblock tube amplifiers\, A/D/A conversion by Bricasti and Metric Halo\, ATR tape machines\, and all-analog mastering chains with gear by Masalec\, Manley\, Rupert Neve\, Knif\, Esoteric Audio Research\, GML and more. \nWe keep these small\, so advance signups are required at https://listenfall.eventbrite.com.
