Demo of DVD-Audio Creation
Sonic Solutions SonicStudio HD v1.7 and Sonic DVD-Audio Creator.
Attendees of the October 25th meeting will be introduced to tools for designing DVD-A content, SonicStudio HD, OneClick DVD and DVD-Audio Creator. These applications allow one to work with high-density DVD-Audio, prepare content, handle assets, create elaborate interactive titles and build full-spec DVD-A titles and hybrid DVD-Audio/DVD-Video titles.
The Presentation will cover
- SonicStudio HD for recording, editing, mixing, sound restoration and mastering of audio content for DVD-A and CD
- OneClick DVD for LPCM and MLP encoding of SonicStudio HD EDLs.
- DVD-Audio for the final assembly of the assets for DVD-Audio titles: sound, picture and video content.
- DVD-Audio and the major labels
- Surround Mixing: is the extra time worth it?
- NoNoise as a profit center
- Storage capacity/technical differences of CD vs. DVD-A
- High Density Surround Sound editing
- Networking of systems and asset management
A demonstration and questions and answer session will follow the presentation

- Take Highway 101 North through San Francisco and across the Golden Gate Bridge
- Continue past the Golden Gate Bridge for 30 minutes
