A question and answer period will follow.

The studio is designed to serve students and faculty, and features a WSDG design, SSL Duality, HD3, and monitors by Adam and Dynaudio. Food and Beverages will be served outside the studios.

About the Speaker

Dr. Nathan Breitling‘s career continues to oscillate between education and the development and new use of music technology. A composer by training, Nathan’s focus in audio began during a residency at the Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique, where he began using software and hardware to control generative music systems. He has served in faculty and administrative positions, consulted to educational foundations here and abroad, and developed curriculum for countless courses and workshop events.

Dr. Breitling is proud to direct the Audio Production program at AiCA-SF, and is firmly committed to advancing a rigorous curriculum grounded in audio theory and industry practice. He earned his Bachelor of Music from USC, and his Master’s and Doctorate from Stanford University.
