About the Speaker
OMas has been slogging through the murky waters of pro audio since his first jobs during college, slaving as a bench tech for dbx, ads and Lexicon. Later, he worked as Production Manager at Neotek, where he helped built some of their last big desks. Having also done time on the other side of the glass, on film sound and as a staff engineer at Criteria Recording, he then moved into rich media product development, first for Philips NV and then Sonic Solutions. At “Sonics,” he worked on their ground breaking desktop audio production system, what these days we call a “DAW,” and later their DVD authoring & SACD products. Nowadays, he heads up Seneschal, a technical consultancy providing pain relief to quality conscious vendors and end users worldwide. In his more lucid moments, he tweets, blogs, and writes for Technorati.
